I received my albums recently, and while I was excited, I was disappointed to find that 4 out of the 8 did not include the pink photocard. I contacted customer support and was informed that, per their policy, they couldn’t assist without an unboxing video. Although that was frustrating, I understood their stance and asked if a partial refund would be possible—since there’s a $2 difference between the preorder albums and the regular ones, I requested $8 for the four that were missing the photocards.
Thankfully, Music Plaza agreed to the refund, which I really appreciated. However, this experience has made me more hesitant to order from them in the future. I’m not sure whether this was a manufacturer error, a packing mistake, or if they may have oversold preorders and couldn’t fully fulfill them. Either way, it was disappointing.
If there’s one takeaway from this, it’s this: always record yourself unboxing your albums. It’s the only way to ensure you can receive proper compensation if something is missing or incorrect.
