ATEEZ Makes History with Billboard Success and Announces First Full Album Under Universal Music
The eight-member South Korean boy group ATEEZ, who debuted in 2018, continues to demonstrate remarkable global influence. Their 11th mini album, GOLDEN HOUR: Part.2, released in South Korea on November 15, 2024 (Friday), soared to No. 1 on Billboard's main album chart, the Billboard 200. Their follow-up, the 12th mini album, GOLDEN HOUR: Part.3, garnered significant attention by debuting at No. 2 on the same chart.
With this achievement, ATEEZ has made history by having seven consecutive albums—from their 8th to 12th mini albums—rank in the Top 7 of the Billboard 200. This milestone firmly cements their status as a global powerhouse.
Moreover, the title track of their 12th mini album, "Lemon Drop," entered the Billboard Hot 100, the U.S.'s main singles chart, marking a significant double success on both the Billboard 200 and Hot 100. The album has also become a major international hit, resonating strongly in countries around the globe.
In addition to their chart success, ATEEZ is currently captivating fans worldwide with a large-scale world tour, reinforcing their global popularity.
Looking ahead, ATEEZ will release their first full-length album under Universal Music on September 17, 2025 (Wednesday). Titled Ashes to Light, the album symbolizes "new hope emerging from adversity" and comes four years and six months after their first full album in Japan, Into the A to Z, released in March 2021.
The album will contain nine tracks, including:
-
The title track "NOT OKAY"
-
Fan-favorite "Birthday"
-
Four songs from their previous albums "Days" and "Forevermore"
-
Five brand-new tracks recorded exclusively for this release
Additionally, each version of the album will feature a unique booklet with different visual concepts, aligning with the overarching theme and worldview of the release.
Fans are encouraged to look forward to the upcoming album visuals and stay tuned for more updates.
