All LP vinyl sales are final. We do not accept returns or exchanges for the following reasons:

• Buyer’s remorse or change of mind

• Minor cosmetic imperfections (e.g., corner dings, slight seam splits, light jacket wear)

• Sound quality or playback issues caused by personal equipment or handling

2. Damaged or Defective Items

If your LP arrives significantly damaged during shipping or has a verified manufacturing defect, please contact us within 3 business days of delivery.

To be eligible for review, please provide:

• An unboxing video from the start of opening the package

• Clear photos of the outer box, shipping label, and damaged areas

• A video showing the issue (for defective or warped records)

Once verified, we will determine whether a replacement or store credit will be issued.

If a return is approved, the LP must be:

• Unopened and unused

탈장르적 사운드의 신선함, “3월의 토끼”

보컬, 기타, 퍼커션이라는 획기적인 편성으로 홍대 클럽 등지에서 매니아를 양산해 오며 압도적인 지지를 받아 온 밴드 '3월의 토끼'가 2012년 3월 그들의 첫 번째 EP 앨범을 발매한다. 지난 2011년도에 결성된 밴드 '3월의 토끼'는 재즈와 가요, 인디 음악의 경계에서 탈장르를 추구하며 그 어디에서도 들어보지 못한 독특한 사운드와 멜로디로 그들의 이야기를 외쳐왔다.

트리오의 구성
팀의 리더이며 본 앨범의 모든 곡을 작사 작곡한 ‘조군’(조정희)은 다수의 재즈 패스티벌과 스페이스 공감, 라디오 방송, 광고 음악 녹음에 이르기까지 활발한 활동 경력을 보여주고 있는 재즈 뮤지션이다. 재즈라는 음악에 머무르지 않고 보다 폭넓은 사운드를 추구하고자 결성한 이 프로젝트에서 그녀는, 장르적인 한계를 뛰어 넘어 음악 자체가 지닌 미학의 영역을 가감 없이 펼쳐내고 있다. 그녀의 곡들 안에서 '황 Bro' (황성용)의 다양한 손 악기들이 만들어 낸 리듬감과 공간감은 곡의 완성도를 높였으며, 최종적으로 본 앨범의 프로듀서인 John Vasconcellos의 기타사운드와 전자 효과음은 ‘3월의 토끼’를 완벽하게 조율하며 완성하고 있다.공연 전 따로 리허설을 하지 않는 이들의 독특한 관습은 그들의 공연을 마치 재즈의 즉흥 연주를 통한 트리오 연주인 듯 늘 새롭게 하여, 같은 곡일지라도 매 번 다른 사운드와 형식으로 관객들을 매료시킨다.

혼돈, 그리고 균형
본 EP에서 발견되는 거칠고 다듬어 지지 않은 소리들은 믹스 엔지니어인 '강호정'에 의해 완벽히 세팅되고 정리되어 각 트랙 마다 가장 적절한 음악으로 재창조되고 있다. 또한 오버덥 사운드를 창조해 낸 기타와 전체 공간의 세밀한 Grid를 형성하고 있는 퍼커션은 한 곡 한 곡 각기 다른 개성과 존재감을 보여준다. 그들의 곡들에는 치밀하게 짜여진 듯한 체계와 재즈의 즉흥성이 복합적으로 엉켜있으며, 이러한 균형과 혼돈 사이에서 시적인 노랫말을 읊조리는 보컬의 목소리가 때론 주문처럼 때론 절규인 듯 공간을 채색한다.

탈장르의 장르
3월의 토끼 음악은 보싸노바에서 일렉트로니카 그리고 프리재즈에서 핑크플로이드 류의 프로그레시브 록 느낌에 이르기까지 다양한 장르를 아우르는 힘이 있다. 그러하기에 굳이 이들의 장르를 따져 묻는다면 탈장르라 규정해야 할지 모른다. 러닝타임이 6분30초에 다다르는 타이틀 곡, '라라를 위하여'를 중심으로 총 4곡의 신선하고 아름다우며 슬프고도 압도적인 이미지의 곡들이 그들의 첫 EP 앨범에 수록되어 있다. 이들은 본 앨범 활동 후 여름을 지나 가을과 겨울사이에 정규앨범을 기획하고 있다.
